I gave my Dot a physical body, built with Astra in a single morning. It’s an ESP32 running Arduino firmware with OpenAI’s animated character on a tiny screen. I hold the screen to talk, and a relay on my Mac sends the audio to ElevenLabs for transcription then enters it into the ChatGPT Dot web interface. The relay waits for Jasper’s reply, then the ElevenLabs API gives it a voice, and the Mac sends the audio back to the device over Wi-Fi.
